Welcome...

We’re of the belief that there’s never too much information when it comes to learning more about Native performing arts--films, music, television, theatre and multi-media. The magazines, radio shows, cable programs, and web sites that have started in recent years are evidence of the fertile interest in this genre and each and every one of these media is to be commended for informing the world about these underappreciated artists.

NativeVue Film & Media is joining this dynamic community with a vision uniquely our own. Our mission is to cultivate an interest in Native performing arts by featuring North America’s most innovative Indigenous filmmakers, musicians, actors and media entrepreneurs. This is done by solid reporting and collaborating with others; simply stated--getting the word out. There’s so much to celebrate that has hardly been touched on.

Which is why we are here.

NativeVue provides "real-time" conversation about movies and television programs, those in production, film festivals and concerts. We profile performers and the creative folks behind the scenes, and include candid discussions of why it’s important. We can’t do it all, and will never assume so. But with our impressive group of contributors and advisors, rest assured we’ll be trying our best to provide accurate, interesting, and yes, entertaining news and commentary.
